What did you do before?

After spending a few months in Bolivia, I decided I wished to travel a bit more. This led to a six-year stint in the Royal Navy, working as an Electrical Engineer.

Motivations to join

I wanted to do something greener, and be part of a smaller, inclusive team (compared to past employment).

What do you like about Ceiba?

I enjoy the positive atmosphere and the green ethos (of course).

What I Like Most About My Job

Coming from the Royal Navy, with a vast amount of equipment to maintain; I enjoy the fact that Ceiba Renewables only uses a small, yet select, amount of quality equipment. This allows us, as installers, to quickly become highly competent in our role.

Why Choose Ceiba Renewables?

There is a great drive to make the world greener. As I recall someone saying, “If the world is to be saved, it will be industry, not governments, that do it.” Being part of a moral and professional company like Ceiba Renewables gives me hope that we may achieve this.

Fun facts

My passion is reading. While I also greatly enjoy nature, I invariably bring a book; so I’d have to put reading as my main passion. But only just!
